The Club is sad to inform members that Mary Gibbons died on 22 May. Mary was the wife of Dave, recently deceased, and mother of Johanna Barton, a member of our Womens' CC squad.

The funeral is now confirmed and will be at

10 AM on Monday 9th June at St Joseph's RC Church, Montem Road, New Malden, Surrey, KT3 3QW

Followed by burial at:

Surbiton Cemetery, Lower Marsh Lane, Kingston, Surrey, KT1 3BN

Johanna has said she would like it "if you could join us afterwards to share memories of Mary over a drink and bite to eat at: Old Wimbledonians Clubhouse, 143 Coombe Lane, Raynes Park, London SW20 0QX to give Mary the send off she would have wanted; lots of people, lots of tears, lots of happy memories, lots of laughter."

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers can be offered via FW Paine Funeral Directors in New Malden, or directly, to the Princess Alice Hospice who helped us as a family through a very difficult time. www.pah.org.uk

We cater for runners, jumpers, throwers and multi-eventers on the track, in the field, on the roads or over the country and are based at Kingsmeadow in Kingston-upon-Thames (KT1 3PB). We'll be very happy to help you with your sport – so please just get in touch and we'll do all we can to assist.
